Gained weight because of a personal tragedy

My name is Jessica Favela, I am 37 years old and I live in Wichita, Kansas. When I think about my childhood and adolescence I have the best memories. My parents are from Mexico, and Im very proud of my heritage, despite being born in the United States. My heart is painted with green, red and white. I love Banda music and of course Mexican food. Life passed in the blink of an eye, I married very young and I had my first daughter who filled me with joy and love. As they say, the first child is never forgotten. In time my other two blessings, my younger children, arrived. Everything was happiness, until one night, 5 years ago I lost my oldest daughter. From that moment my life was not the same, I fell into a state of sadness and total abandon. We stopped eating at home, we preferred to go out. Later, my body paid the bill, I weighed 200 lbs and I couldn’t breathe. For my birthday, my youngest daughter came up with sweet tenderness told me, “Mommy wear a dress again please!” I looked her in the eye and I promised her I would be the happy and healthy mother she used to have. And so it was! Today I am 50 pounds lighter, I am a proud YES YOU CAN mom. I am healthy, I feel beautiful inside and out. I enjoy my children every second, and I know that my little girl, fills me with strength and applauds this great achievement from heaven. Love you always! YES YOU CAN!
